Accessibility Statement

Effective Date: April 27, 2026

Our Commitment

NAPLESDRVN is committed to ensuring that its website is accessible to all people, including those with disabilities. We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities and more usable for everyone.

Conformance Status

This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partial conformance means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively working to identify and resolve all remaining gaps.

Measures Taken

NAPLESDRVN takes the following measures to ensure accessibility of this website:

  • Skip-to-main-content link available at the top of every page for keyboard users
  • Semantic HTML5 landmark elements (header, main, footer, nav, section) used throughout
  • All major page sections carry descriptive aria-label attributes for screen reader navigation
  • Sufficient color contrast ratios maintained between text and background (minimum 4.5:1 for normal text)
  • All interactive elements are keyboard reachable with visible focus indicators
  • Form fields include associated labels and descriptive placeholder text
  • Images include descriptive alt text; decorative images use empty alt attributes
  • No content flashes more than three times per second
  • Page language declared in the HTML lang attribute
  • Cookie consent banner is keyboard navigable and screen reader accessible

Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some content may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA. The following limitations are known and are being actively addressed:

  • The interactive SVG infrastructure map in the hero section provides visual animations that may not be fully conveyed to screen reader users. A text-based description of the four infrastructure layers is available in the Infrastructure section below the hero.
  • The Google Maps component used in the Cities section relies on third-party rendering and may have limited screen reader support depending on the assistive technology used.
  • Some complex interactive components (audit modal multi-step form) may require additional ARIA live region announcements for step-change events.
